This association runs entirely on volunteers.
There are no salaries and no office. Everything you see — the gala, the scholarship, the mentoring scheme — exists because Aligarians gave up their evenings.
Where we need hands
Mentor a student
Two or three conversations a year with a recent graduate finding their way into UK work.
Help run events
Venue hunting, registration desks, hosting a regional dinner in your own city.
Fundraising
Grow the scholarship fund, approach employers, organise the annual appeal.
Communications
Write for the newsletter, photograph events, look after our social channels.
Start a regional chapter
Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol — you only need a handful of people to begin.
Offer work experience
An internship, a shadowing day, or an honest hour about how your industry hires.
