Membership
Belong to something that outlasts a WhatsApp group.
Membership fees keep the association running and put the surplus straight into the scholarship fund. There are no paid staff — every pound is accounted for at the AGM.

We’ll confirm by email and send payment details. No card is taken here.
Who can join?
Any graduate or former student of Aligarh Muslim University living in the United Kingdom, and any friend or supporter of the Aligarh movement, regardless of faith or background. Spouses and children of alumni are welcome at all family events.
Membership runs from 1 October — Sir Syed’s birth month — to 30 September. Join part-way through the year and we pro-rate the first subscription.
Cannot afford the fee this year? Write to the membership secretary. Nobody is turned away over money.
